L’ Atelier des Lauves After the death of his mother, Paul Cezanne had a studio built on the outskirts of Aix en Provence, here he painted some his most famous paintings. Today it is a museum. On a hot day in June this year I visited the studio where I was inspired to paint the picture of a girl reading a pamphlet about L’Atelier des Lauves : - Cezanne’s Studio.
